Homelyfe Insurance

Product design (App, web and brand) - Homelyfe

Homelyfe, a London-based startup committed to modernising the way insurance works with the way consumers interact with technology today.

The idea was to take an antiquated, confusing, negatively viewed industry and create a new vision of how it should all work. We wanted to empower the way customers buy insurance and make insurance work for them rather than making customers work hard for their insurance.

I was originally brought in to redesign the agile built "rough around the edges" first version of the app. Soon I realised a fresh perspective (and a few steps back) could improve the company product offering as a whole. My goal was to create new ideas based around what consumers really wanted and to help Homelyfe truly understand the relationship between consumers and insurance.

I worked from the ground up on a new product strategy proposal, conducted fresh research (more in-depth user and industry explorations), produced a design audit report and established potential improvements to the current Homelyfe strategy. This lead to a new product design pitch unifying important customer touch points including brand, web and app.
