Flash ad - Saville Row rocks
Just as GQ had hit their 25th year as a leading publication, they decided to mark the occasion with a collaboration with the Woolmark Company. The campaign featured 14 iconic musicians dressed in bespoke Savile Row tailoring for a special 26 page feature in the magazine.
The theme seemed to be one of mixing the new (musical icons) and the old (bespoke tailoring). We decided to try recreate this approach in Flash by adding an animated Woolmark logo over the artist photos thereby combining and unifying both brands visually. The logo animation actually ended up looking like a loud speaker or sound icon which nicely linked the idea of music and audio with the campaign.
